What does this Tax Manager job offer you?

The job offers you autonomy and ownership in corporation tax for this company, including  inhouse preparation of all UK & Irish tax returns, ensuring compliance with corporation tax laws and regulations; oversee all tax-related functions, including filing tax returns, advising the leadership team and managing tax audits; developing and maintaining corporation tax compliance procedures and risk assessment frameworks, to ensure effective tax management; managing and overseeing the filing of regular tax returns, including income tax, VAT and other direct or indirect taxes; collaborating with finance and accounting teams to ensure our tax strategies and policies are implemented accurately, as per statutory tax compliances and identifying, tracking and reporting any potential financial risks or issues and working closely with the accounting teams to implement appropriate solutions.

As part of the finance management team, you will also be involved in business partnering and process improvement projects across this complex, multi-jurisdictional manufacturing and distribution company.

You will be joining a large, well supported team of 40+ finance professionals in Co Mayo, reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, while also working closely with the company’s Head of Finance on many tax and accounting matters.
