Your new job:

As a Senior Tax Accountant on the Financial Accounting & Reporting team, your job will lean heavily towards applying best practices to their indirect taxation services.  Working on a Galway tax team of 4, you will complete Corporate Tax and VAT analysis, filing, submissions and reconciliations and ensure compliance for the EMEA region. You will collaborate continuously with your Indirect Tax Manager and your Tax Compliance Manager to keep abreast of changes in tax and VAT issues that may affect the company and business decisions. You will enhance direct and indirect tax structures, prepare VIES and statutory returns, take responsibility for Transfer Pricing, as well as for Corporation Tax management, and manage filing of tax returns for EMEA entities.

You will work with the Tax Advisory team on commercial and operational projects, regularly meeting with non-finance leaders to advise on the tax implications of selling to jurisdictions outside of the EU and opening distribution centres in new countries putting you at the heart of business operations.

A remuneration package of €70,000 – 78,000 to include a competitive base salary & excellent monetary benefits such as a performance related bonus, discounted share options, pension, healthcare and subsidised canteen. If you are someone who is an analytical and conceptual thinker, and who enjoys organising and interpreting complex information and challenging business decisions, you will really enjoy this job and working for this company.

You will be a qualified Tax or Finance professional (e.g. CTA, AITI, ACA, ACCA) with experience in tax compliance from either practice or industry. Experience in a Big 4 or Top 10 practice is desirable but not necessary, however a ‘can-do’ attitude and lots of ambition is a must.
