As a trusted Senior Financial Analyst & advisor to this large, multifaceted manufacturing site, you will become both the Finance Business Partner to the Quality function, as well as the Subject Matter Expert for overhead spend for the entire Galway site.
Joining the FP&A division of a large team of high-achieving, senior finance professionals in Galway, you will support the Quality Function with their financial performance, budgets & forecasts, cost centre spend, capital investments appraisals, strategic business decisions and site-wide cost improvement programmes.
As SME for the site’s overhead spend, which consists of multiple manufacturing units at various development stages, you are a key business consolidation analyst in the site’s quarterly forecast and annual operating plan (AOP) process. A visible and influential role, your analysis is presented to the Site Leadership Team in Galway and the Executive Team in their US HQ.

Location:
Initially working from home due to Covid restrictions, this job is expected to be a hybrid role in the long-term, working 3 days onsite in Galway and 2 days from home.

Is this job for you?
While experience in manufacturing would be nice to have, it’s not important. What we are looking for is an independent, self-starter, with strong attention to detail! A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with c5-8 years PQE, you will have proven ability in providing detailed analysis of overheads while also seeing the bigger picture, and having confidence to drive improvements in costs.
