Our multinational MedTech client based in Westmeath is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their Global Finance Operations team. It’s an ideal step forward in your career if you have experience as a Cost Accountant or Financial Accountant and you want to develop your financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting skills in a multinational environment. This job is also a great career move if you have worked as a Financial Analyst or Commercial Analyst to date.

Your responsibilities as a Senior Financial Analyst are varied and enjoyable, you will provide high level insights to the Global Financial Controller on actuals vs budget variances which informs the Senior Leadership Team’s decision making while also taking a primary role in projects and process improvements, responsibilities include:

  1. Prepare monthly close reports and high-level variance analysis for 7 international distribution centres with support from the local Finance teams
  2. Assist the Global Controller with the consolidation of all distributions centres’ variance analysis and monthly forecasts
  3. Drive cost saving initiatives for your region in areas such as transport costs, warehouse costs and purchase price variance
  4. Participate in the preparation of the Annual Operations Plan (AOP) for your region and 5/7 forecasting
  5. Prepare consolidated balance sheet flux reports
  6. Engage in process improvement initiatives such as enhancing reporting from SAP and systems integrations

This leading MedTech company are over €3bn in annual turnover while still maintaining a close-knit atmosphere across their 15 person Global Finance Operations team. There is ample career progression available due to a newly acquired company being integrated which will see the Finance team grow here in Westmeath giving you opportunities to progress. You will report into a talented and empathetic Global Controller who is based onsite, they will invest time in developing your skillset and they will give you exposure to senior level stakeholders and strategic projects.

Benefits package

You will receive a benefits package valued between €70,000-€80,000 including a generous base salary, health insurance cover for you and a 10% discount for your dependents, company pension contributions, 2 days working from home per week, early finish on Fridays and discounted meals in the onsite canteen.

Experience

You will need to be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 2-5 years’ industry PQE in a Financial Analyst, Cost Accountant, Financial Accountant or Commercial Analyst position.
