This Senior Financial Analyst FP&A job in Galway presents you with an excellent opportunity to “get your foot in the door” of an expanding US multinational manufacturing and R&D operation.

Hybrid Working Model:  This job offers a 3 days onsite, 2 days work-from-home model, which may suit candidates travelling from Co Clare, Co Mayo, County Westmeath, Co Roscommon as well as all parts of Galway.

About your new job:

Working on a team of 5-6 Senior FP&A Analysts on the site’s wider finance team of ~20 top calibre professionals, you will support 6 business units within manufacturing and R&D in a highly complex and prestigious blue chip organisation. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager of FP&A, you will prepare monthly and quarterly reporting, annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting and 3 year strategic planning.  You will analyse significant variances and work with manufacturing and R&D teams to investigate reasons and solutions, will ensuring compliance with SOX, GAAP and Corporate Policy.  You will be given full autonomy to work directly with Engineers and Managers, Tax and Finance Teams, and Big 4 advisors to successfully deliver your financial analysis & results. You will also act as the “go-to” finance expert for a particular function, providing business support on all finance matters & queries arising from that team / department.

And finally, you will participate in and, at times, lead projects in process development, systems upgrades, and multi-site continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Type:

Initially offered as a 12 month contract in a company that have increased their Galway workforce by ~60% in the last 7-8 years, there are strong opportunities to stay long-term as the company continue to invest heavily in their Galway operation.
