As the Senior Financial Accountant you will prepare and post journals, with a particular focus on revenue entries, throughout the quarter and prepare balance sheet accounts each quarter end in line with SOX requirements. You will work with non-financial leaders across EMEA, Latin America & Asia-Pacific to assist them in creating multi-annual contracts with customers and over time you will advise them on structuring the contracts so that revenue is recognised in timeframes that work for the company. The International Finance Manager who you will report to and who is based in Galway is passionate about process improvements and automation and once you are settled in you will work with the IT team and other colleagues to streamline processes and automate what may have been previously manually completed. You will have access to Power BI and Copilot for everyday use and training is provided, they have strong systems already in place including an Oracle ERP system that allows you work efficiently.

To become the Senior Financial Accountant you will need 5-7 years’ experience which can be from Big 4/Top 10 audit and subsequent industry PQE or it can be exclusively from industry. Experience with revenue recognition standards such as ASC 606 or IFRS 15 from either audit or industry is essential.
