No.2 to the Associate Director for Accounting & Finance for Europe, you will hold a highly visible and influential job as a Senior Finance Manager of a company that experienced 80% growth in Europe last year.
What you will do as Senior Finance Manager:
You will lead an EU Finance Operations team of 12 accounts assistants and team leaders, with oversight and responsibility for Supplier AP & Supplier AR account management. A member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will provide financial oversight to the business on all areas of Supplier AP & Supplier AR which will directly impact business decisions.
An advocate for change and process improvement, you will work with your stakeholders in US and EU to drive improvements in the experience of, and service to, their 5000+ international suppliers. You will identify and implement further efficiencies in AP processing and reporting, to meet growth to 8000 suppliers by the end of the year, and you will embrace technologies such as suppliers EDI & robotic process automation (RPA), to achieve the company’s goal to reduce manual billing from 7% to 5% across the EU.
A proven people manager, you will motivate, coach and inspire a high performing AP team to excel within a best practice environment, assisting them to identify and resolve inefficiencies in the AP process, from initial PO through to vendor payment and statement review.
Utilising your previous experience in financial accounting OR AP Management in an international or SSC environment, you will be given full autonomy to create innovate operational and strategic solutions to Supplier AP and Supplier AR issues caused by Brexit, COVID and other circumstances. And you will work closely with your Finance colleagues in the Accounting & Reporting team, on AP activities connected to GL accounting, SOX compliance and internal and external audit requirements.
