In this highly varied Finance Analyst job in Galway, you will support all Global Commercial Projects (typically $50m – $300m budgets) and put your own mark on a company that is expanding rapidly into new markets globally. Joining a $2bn organisation with a large finance team in Galway, you will call upon your refined analytical skills to provide financial management, revenue analysis and profitability analysis for all commercial projects globally.
You will work closely with Programme Managers, the Global Commercial Finance Director, Manufacturing, Engineering, Technology Planning, and Supply Chain teams globally (the Project Stakeholders) to monitor and report on costs, spend, budgets and forecasts for up to 20 projects, of which 2-3 will need specific attention at a time.

This Financial Analyst job in Galway is an excellent opportunity for commercially astute, recently qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA with approx. 0-5 years PQE) who wishes to work on complex global projects with a world-leading organisation.
While previous experience in profitability analysis of commercial projects is NOT necessary, some exposure to revenue recognition or revenue analysis will be highly beneficial. However a desire to work with impressive leaders across all disciplines, as well as proven skills in extracting and manipulating complex financial data from MS Excel and ERP systems to aid decision making in an international environment, is a must.
Salary: A competitive starting package of €55,000-65,000 will be offered to the successful candidate.
