Your new job as Payroll Manager

Joining a rapidly evolving & growing multinational manufacturing company, your job as Payroll Manager will allow you to put your own mark on this highly ambitious organisation as they go through a period of positive change. Mainly focused on managing the work and performance of the outsourced 3rd-party payroll provider, as well as assisting the HR Director with assessing the company’s compensations & benefits offerings and performance, this is an excellent job for a self-motivated, self-confident, resilient Payroll/HR/Comp & Bens professional (any one of the 3 areas is sufficient to be successful) who is comfortable operating with minimal direction and who thrives in a dynamic environment as a leader influencing change and transformation. Your new job will include:

  1. Directly manage the monthly payroll process via the outsourced model, ensuring accurate processing of payments, compliance with revenue regulations and legislative requirements and managing related queries effectively
  2. Partner with the 3rd party payroll provider to ensure a customer focused service is delivered to all our employees and managers.
  3. Review employee information and ensure accurate flow of payroll to ERP including overtime, shift vacation etc.
  4. Key point of contact for payroll related queries, pension administrators and trustees
  5. Monthly approval of both salaried and hourly payroll
  6. Understanding in the nuances between hourly versus salaried employees
  7. Process implementation, improvement and its associated benefits
  8. Work closely with the Reward centre of excellence to support annual compensation process, promotion process, equity planning and recognition initiatives.
  9. Partner with reward centre of excellence to support on-going marketplace reviews to monitor trends and changes with aim of ensuring the required compensation and benefits positioning is maintained.
  10. Corporate HR – to take a lead role, as required, support and provide input to the design and implementation of specific Corporate HR initiatives/projects.

Utilising your ability to manage outsourced providers, while also building on your career in either Payroll or HR or Compensations & Benefits, this company will call upon your excellent leadership, communications and influencing skills, and your track record of building credibility among leadership and peers to gain commitment and support for major initiatives while placing company’s interests first. With a continuous improvement mind-set, coupled with experience and understanding in change management implementation in a multinational environment, you will be given autonomy to identify issues, propose solutions and move quickly to implement such changes.
