Excellent International Tax Manager job in Industry in Galway

This is an excellent job in industry in Galway for a Tax Qualified Accountant (CTA/AITI) to dive into the evolving international operations and corporate taxes of a multi-billion dollar global organisation. An integral part of the global tax team, you will work alongside the International Tax Director and another International Tax Manager in Galway, the corporate tax team in America and local tax advisors across the region to provide full tax compliance and tax accounting services to over 30 entities in the EMEA, APAC & CALA regions.

This is a hybrid job, allowing you to work from home 3 days a week, under a manager who has a flexible and trusting approach to management.

Your new job:

As the International Tax Manager, you will use your tax qualifications and/or experience in international financial accounting to approve tax provisions at quarter end, prepare & approve indirect tax returns before submission in international jurisdictions and submit indirect tax returns for trading company’s international tax registrations, review financial statements regarding transfer pricing & withholding tax calculations, prepare calculations and reports to feed into quarter-end reporting under US GAAP and statutory requirements, and assist with external financial audits and reviews of income taxes. You will also manage tax payment & treasury forecasting on a monthly basis. And best of all, you will benefit from working in a company that is growing, by assisting with the tax elements of entity integrations as a result of recent merger and researching various tax issues as required.

Your new company:

This company have recently doubled in size as a result of a significant acquisition and are now reporting $1bn turnover globally. The Tax Department in the International Business Centre in Galway is responsible for the tax accounting and tax compliance for all jurisdictions outside of the US and Canada. As an International Tax Manager, you will support and manage international tax accounting and international tax compliance for a number of their existing entities, as well as additional entities that will be integrated following the recent acquisition.

Rewards package & Career Development Support:

A competitive salary of approximately €75,000-80,000 will be offered to the successful candidate, plus a bonus of 5%, health insurance, pension, paid annual leave, career development plan, etc.
