The opportunity offered by this Senior Manager, International Payroll job in Galway (3 days onsite, 2 days from home):

As the Senior International Payroll Manager of this growing US multinational, you will become the “go-to” expert for payroll internationally, leading payroll operations in 30+ countries across EMEA and APAC, mainly through 3rd party providers, with some local inhouse assistance.  Joining a large team of senior finance executives in their International HQ in Galway, you will be a key member of the global leadership team and report to the International Finance Director, also in Galway.

A highly experienced player and coach in international payroll (5 years+ experience in payroll in a multinational company), you will lead and mentor a small internal team, as well as manage the performance of the outsourced payroll providers. A continuous improvement champion for International Payroll, you will be empowered to drive improvements in performance of the international payroll function, and ensure consistency of processes and standards globally.  Hands-on in approach you will have complete autonomy to assess current processes and KPIs, and introduce changes required to streamline procedures or update structures, and to ultimately improve metrics and functional efficiencies.

As part of the Senior Leadership Team, you will build strong working relationships with the global HR & Finance Teams to offer insight and expertise related to payroll. You will work closely with HR & Finance on staffing costs, payroll budgets, global mobility, and payroll related projects and you will lead projects in process improvements in the payroll function.
