Our client in Galway is actively seeking a newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), who wants to work in a commercially-focused Financial Analysis job. You will become the FP&A Analyst for a $300m t/o manufacturing & technology business within a $2bn company with 4000 employees globally.

Reporting to the FP&A Finance Manager and joining a global finance team of 12, your job will include:

  1. Support the monthly and quarterly management reporting cycle, ensuring it is completed in a timely, accurate and efficient manner
  2. Analysis of revenue on a weekly, monthly & quarterly basis to understand project drivers & variances vs. planned forecasts
  3. Working closely with Delivery Team on monthly reporting of revenue, order intake & backlog data including preparation of Monthly Performance Review slides
  4. Supporting FP&A Manager with review of cost base including variance analysis versus planned forecast
  5. Assisting with analysis of headcount reporting on a monthly & quarterly basis
  6. Preparation, analysis and posting of revenue journals
  7. Supporting finance team with forecasting & budgeting cycles including roll forward of forecast templates & continuous process improvement
  8. Developing proficiency in using ERP systems including Oracle, Oracle Analytics Platform (OAP) & Hyperion (HFM) & building reports that enable the business to understand it’s revenue & cost drivers.
  9. Interest in BI Tools to develop & improve information flow & analysis of the business
  10. Assist with the integration of new acquisitions as required
