You new job as FP&A Finance Manager:
Supporting the Irish manufacturing site and reporting to the Associate Director FP&A, you will be part of a small, close-knit Global Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team of a global manufacturing company. Your primary responsibility as the Finance Manager FP&A is to lead the annual product costing exercise, driving improvements in overhead allocation & process automation.
Location & Duration: This is a 12 month contract based in the midlands and commutable from Galway, Roscommon, Westmeath, Meath, Longford & Offaly. However, the company are also open to you working remotely (from home) full-time during the 12 month period.
Job focus:
Your principle responsibilities as FP&A Manager will be to act as the Finance Business Partner to the site, providing timely and accurate cost centre updates and commentaries on spend variances and departmental updates. You will be expected to perform mid-year costing updates for new and revised materials, prepare forecasting workings for product revenue and quarterly business reviews, assist with AOP and budgeting, and review month end reporting & variance analysis.
In your new job you will also support the monthly management pack highlighting any key variances, complete annual R&D tax credit calculations and actively support continuous improvement efforts.
What you will need:
The ideal candidate will be a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 5+ years experience in financial analysis or cost accounting within a manufacturing organisation. However, if you don’t have this exact experience, but you have an analytical mind, a strong commercial acumen, an understanding of the manufacturing sector and you can prove you can do the job, we’d like to hear from you too.
Some knowledge of SAP and/or Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) would be highly desirable but not necessary.
Your Reward:
