This newly created Financial Controller job in Mayo is based in the new European HQ of an American MnC and gives you an excellent chance to get in at an early stage and put your stamp on an ambitious, rapidly growing manufacturing company with an energetic, extremely positive and motivational leadership team.
Your job as the new Financial Controller – the tasks, challenges and rewards:
Undertaking a hugely important role in the company’s finance team, you will manage and grow the accounts team and report to the local Finance Director. Tasked with establishing a full finance function in Ireland to allow for growth and scale (from 30-150 employees in Mayo), you will be responsible for financial/statutory accounting, audit, control and reporting; operational, product and cost accounting; cash flow management, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis; KPI implementation & management; and commercial and strategic decision support. You will engage regularly with the financial and operations accounting teams in America and have significant interaction with the Company CFO.
Securing a challenging job with influence and impact, you will lead initiatives to improve efficiencies in processes, procedures and systems (ERP system on site is Microsoft Dynamics), to manage costs, and drive margins, profitability and growth.
