This Financial Accountant job in Mayo offers you a chance to work with high calibre Finance Managers and Accountants in the shared service centre (SSC) of a leading multinational company. Your New Job:

As part of a highly competent, energetic and collaborative accounting team, you will take ownership of a number of areas of the P&L and become the subject matter expert on this area for all entities in the EMEA region. Your broad and diverse job will include preparation and reporting of monthly, quarterly and annual financials from point of transaction through to financial close, as well as other periodic external reporting requirements.  As an integral part of the EMEA finance team, you will develop and deliver process documentation, training content, and super user support for manufacturing & intercompany accounting, and other complex accounting activities in the areas of General accounting, Fixed Asset accounting, VAT accounting, Payroll accounting, Close and consolidations, SOX compliance & internal controls. You will also carry out; root cause analysis for more complex exceptions, in process improvement reviews, support data integrity and sustain effective controls in compliance with SOX, WWPs, US GAAP, Local GAAP/IFRS and any other accounting pronouncements and policies required.

Is this job for you?

If you are a recently Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, CPA) with 0-5 years PQE in financial accounting for an international organisation (either through your multinational client base in practice or directly from industry) we would like to talk to you.
