Your new Job

Reporting into the Global Finance Director you will have the overall responsibility for the Financial Management and Accounting for the EMEA, as well as transversal responsibility as CFO of the principle entity of the company.

As the EMEA Finance Director, you will have full responsibility of the company’s investment plan in Europe and will also be in charge of coordinating all financial and business functions according to this plan. You will also be in charge of the financial planning and accounting for the assigned region essentially for sales and manufacturing. Accounting and compliance, capital investment requests and transversal leadership and coordination projects with the rest of the organisation will also be a key part of your new job.

You will be responsible for the EMEA financial control function. You will also work with teams in the preparation, analysis and presentation of all financial planning and budgeting activities related to the business – Sales, marketing, manufacturing, R&D, Engineering.

You will analyze performance against plan, recent history and projected performance and to formally provide the EMEA Managers with regular analysis of financial performance.  This can be achieved through financial updates and business review presentations.

You will ensure the effective implementation of the company’s financial systems/policies and procedures across EMEA. You will also direct all management accounting and external financial accounting activities, including regulatory financial reporting and tax accounting.

You will also be responsible for leading a team of finance professionals (6 FTE); responsible for recruitment, direction, performance management and development planning of the team.

You will also work closely with the financial controlling team based in Central Europe to consolidate and analyse financial results in the region.

Is this job for you?

To be successful in your position as Finance Director, EMEA, you will be a professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 10+ years’  financial accounting experience. You will have the ability to contribute to the organisations overall business strategy at board level, coupled with manufacturing industry experience.
