Working for a quality-focused, continuously growing, innovative manufacturing & distribution company in Co Mayo, you will be given the opportunity to lead and motivate a team of 3 staff in the timely delivery of financial accounting & reporting for their UK entities, from the SSC in Co Mayo.

If you are a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with senior financial accounting experience in an international or SSC environment, with aspirations to become a Finance Manager, then this is the perfect job for you.

Your New Job:
As a Finance Team Leader, you will:
• Manage the monthly and annual closing activities, including preparing GL monthly journal entries and accruals
• Lead & mentor a team of 3 Accounts Assistants in AP, AR and Payroll.
• Reconciliation and analysis of balance sheet, intercompany reconciliations, debtors and creditors ledgers, treasury, daily cash balances, and preparation of statutory returns (VAT, Corporation Tax, Payroll) and presentation to senior management
• Overseeing payroll processing for 100+ staff in the UK entities
• Identify and lead continuous process improvement initiatives in reporting, supporting the company’s ethos on strong controls and efficient IT & ERP systems
• Become integral part of company’s focus on automation of processes and utilisation of robotics for improved systems’ efficiencies
• Support internal and external audits, liaising with Auditors re audit queries.
