What this Senior Finance Manager position offers you
As the Senior Finance Manager in this U.S. MnC you will lead the strategic direction of payroll services for 4000+ Irish based employees through your oversight of weekly and monthly payroll, project implementation, change management and technical accounting skills to ensure continued efficiency of payroll and preparedness for a rapidly growing company into the future. It’s a chance to utilise your leadership, strategic thinking and managerial skills without the requirement to be as hands-on with daily finance tasks. You will project manage the implementation of the solutions you propose and liaise with cross-functional teams including IT, HR and Operations in project delivery. You will hone your accounting, internal controls, SOX compliance, global mobility and payroll knowledge in a true managerial job in a company where you can progress onto global projects and to other onsite teams across Finance Operations, FP&A, Tax and Financial Reporting once you establish your personal brand.
What’s entailed in your Finance Manager job
As the Senior Finance Manager with a remit over payroll, you will lead a talented team of 4 to deliver weekly and monthly payroll efficiently and compliantly. You will use your experience as a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) to identify arising accounting issues such as international cross charges or the accounting implications of processing share options through payroll which will continue to challenge and develop your accounting skills. If you have developed strong internal controls and SOX compliance knowledge from your industry or practice experience in areas such as employment tax advisory or global mobility you can now apply these in a tier one multinational setting. You will feed into numerous planning and forecasting activities such as R&D tax credit claims and IDA grants and ensure compensation and benefits information is accounted for correctly on the P&L and Balance Sheet.
Project Management & Delivery
You will drive projects and process improvement initiatives that maximises the use of automation and the suite of existing systems in place. You will advise on upcoming regulatory changes that have a payroll impact and proceed to work across teams to put in place solutions that are compliant, automated and future-proof.

Existing skills that you can further develop
To become the Senior Finance Manager, Payroll, you will ideally be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with payroll management exposure in industry, or you can come from a practice background in either audit, employment tax or global mobility and now want to challenge yourself in a multinational environment.
Your rewards
You will be rewarded with an overall package of between €80,000-€100,000 including a generous basic salary, annual bonus, car allowance, pension, health care cover and hybrid working of 2 days per week.
