This newly created Finance Director job in a €500M+ revenue business is based in Co Mayo and is commutable from counties Galway, Roscommon, Leitrim and Sligo.
Developed following a recent re-organisation in preparation for the company’s imminent rapid growth, your job as Group FD will be a strong No.2 position to the group’s CFO, with reporting responsibilities to the Board. A senior member of their leadership team, your governance, mentoring and influential skills will be called upon as you manage and develop an energetic & driven team of 30 finance leaders, accountants and assistants across financial control, tax & treasury, finance transformation and FP&A in a global environment of operational excellence.
An advisor to the CFO and Board of Directors on all financial matters, you will have an innate ability to understand the business, its KPIs and potential pressure points, particularly as the company continues on its path for further growth.
This company is very commercial and entrepreneurial in approach. Going through its 9th acquisition in 10 years with exciting growth plans for the future, the company currently have 4000+ customers globally, 300+ suppliers, 400 staff and operations in China, US, France, Germany, Sweden and Amsterdam. Established by an Irish entrepreneur, its Group HQ is based in County Mayo.
The company’s entrepreneurial spirit is backed by an appetite for innovation and best practice, with state of the art technology, including robotic process automation & 30 staff in their IT team. They have an impressive story to date, made successful through an inspiring management team.
With room to develop to CFO level in the coming years, this Group Finance Director job offers a competitive 6 figure package to include a strong base salary, a bonus of approx. 25-30%, and significant company shares.
