This is an excellent job opportunity for an EMEA Payroll Specialist or EMEA Payroll Supervisor to progress to manager level in Galway.

If you are “promotion ready”, or wishing to extend your experience in EMEA payroll management, then you should apply for this EMEA Payroll Manager job in Galway.

About the job:

This EMEA Payroll Manager job is with a multi-billion dollar, global technology & manufacturing company, that is setting up a new international Centre of Excellence in Galway, which will double the size of their workforce here.  As the EMEA Payroll Manager, you will have ownership of the end-to-end fortnightly and monthly payroll process for 37 entities, in 22 countries across the EMEA region through third party vendors.

Your remit will include responsibility for applying accurate jurisdictional taxes, social charges & deductions for each country; dealing with technical queries on payroll & benefit calculations; and uploading payroll data to the GL accounts. Reporting to the Finance SSC Director, you will be empowered to lead any payroll projects and implementation projects, as part of ongoing process improvements.

The best parts of the job:

The biggest attraction of this job, {outside of the fact that you will be involved in a “start-up” SSC – an exciting time to join the company and take on a job that will allow for lots of autonomy and creativity to make the job your own}, is that it’s with one of Galway’s best companies to work for, if not The Best.

Having worked as a Recruitment Partner to this company for over 13 years, I can say without hesitation that they are an excellent employer. Here’s some of the reasons why:

  1. They offer early progression to people who are “promotion ready”, tending to offer jobs to ambitious people who are looking for the “next step” in their career, rather than the person already doing the same job elsewhere.
  2. The management team and all their employees are extremely impressive – grounded, pragmatic, competent people who really pull together to get things done.
  3. The company really value its employees. Management put focus on the people who work for them and adopt a flexible approach to work that allows each person to work to their best, adapting the working environment/job to each individual’s needs/strengths.
  4. They offer clear career paths for development for each employee, as well as highly competitive remuneration packages.
  5. They always think long-term, they move quickly in decision making and they do things right, first time, every time.
  6. Each person that I have placed with this company over the last few months, and years, are very delighted with the company, and with their jobs.

They truly are an impressive company in Galway and are therefore attracting the best talent in Galway for their open vacancies.

Remuneration Package:

This company are offering a highly competitive remuneration package, to include an attractive base salary (this company is known for paying the top end of the salary brackets in Galway), performance bonus, pension and healthcare to the successful person. Further details available on request.
