This medical device manufacturer, founded in Galway 15 years ago, has enjoyed exceptional growth in recent years and is now wholly owned by an international conglomerate. As part of their transition into this international group, the company’s Financial Controller is leading numerous business transformation projects including a large ERP upgrade which will take place over the coming year. Therefore, they are seeking to hire a strong, experienced, and ambitious senior leader to help make this transition successful.

Location: Based at their Galway site, you can work 2 days a week from home

Your new job

As the Acting Financial Controller & Finance Business Partner in Galway, you will backfill for the Financial Controller during this time, taking on a variety of tasks, from day-to-day management of the finance function for the manufacturing site, as well as assisting in business transformation projects and the SAP system implementation.

With a flair for business process transformation, you will take an active role to identify and implement changes needed in processes, procedures and systems, to improve, develop and integrate financial processes, in supporting the financial activities, including the migration to a new SAP system. You will operate at a senior level to cover activities of the Financial Controller, including leading a small finance team.

This job will suit a finance leader (ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified) who thrives in a fast changing, high growth and dynamic, results-orientated environment.
