CIPD qualified, Edel has extensive experience in recruiting for many of the world’s largest companies including Boston Scientific, Medtronic, GE, Abbott, P&O, Hollister, Coca-Cola, Oracle, KPMG and E&Y, as well as many indigenous & international companies across all industries. She became the National Key Account Manager to a number of these global companies, as well as the Project Manager for many large recruitment projects.
Edel worked for over an 11 years with an international recruitment company, where she developed both recruitment and business start-up skills. She established seven new divisions for the company both in Ireland and Australia and managed these new divisions to success, gaining broad exposure to many sectors including Senior Finance, Accounts Administration, Office Support, Information Technology, Financial Services, Logistics and Life Sciences.
Edel’s main interest lies in the Accountancy & Finance sector. Having majored in H.R.& Accountancy as part of her B.B.S. at U.L., she has a real passion for the people, the jobs and the career opportunities within it. She has spent most of her career placing Accountants into career-progressive positions, from helping newly-qualified practice Accountants to find their first industry position, through to working with top CFOs and FDs to find the strategic, influential position that will capitalise on their business leadership talents.
