No. 2 to the Senior Manager, EMEA Credit & Collections

Second-In-Command to the EMEA Senior Manager for Credit and Collections, you will play a lead role in developing the credit control team in Galway, including taking responsibility for the day to day operations when the Manager is unavailable.

An integral part of the EMEA Credit & Collections team, and feeding into the global team in America, you will be empowered with:

1. Performing and reviewing the day-to-day credit operations for EMEA
2. Mentor and advise the collection teams on escalated queries, in particular on risk assessment.
3. Conduct credit reviews for new accounts, establish credit limits of between $10K tp $4m and robustly defend these credit line decisions. This will include reviewing customer financial statements, commercial references, credit and financial histories and external credit agencies to assign and recommend appropriate line of credit and related security, release pending orders, increasing or decreasing customer lines of credit or deny a line of credit to an account with the option to be a cash in advance customer. You will also manage orders shipped via CAD (cash against documents) and LC payment arrangements.
4. Make recommendations of non-standard situations and alert appropriate management of significant issues or exceeded limits
5. Prepare monthly financial presentations related to portfolio risk for operational collection issues, and analysing KPI’s for Global credit teams.

As a Senior Credit Analyst, your expertise will be relied upon to design & implement strategies on corporate credit policies and procedures to control potential losses from credit exposure, maximize cash flow and support continued sales growth.

If I.T. systems is your thing, you will really enjoy working on their pilot project with the US Team, to roll out a new global credit and collections system that will significantly improve efficiencies.

To succeed and progress in this integral role in EMEA Credit & Collections, you will be:

1. Highly competent in credit control and collections at an international scale (3+ years’ experience in credit control teams servicing EMEA, APAC or Global regions).
2. A strong communicator, leader and problem solver, who wants to pay a lead role in a high performing credit and collections team in Galway.

Remuneration package of c€50-60K includes a competitive base salary, pension, VHI, flexible start-finish times, work-from-home days, and company supported training/education.
