FP&A Senior Finance & Executive Search are working exclusively with the owners of a high profile Irish corporation in the West of Ireland to appoint a Property & Investment Director to their private investment & property development company.

Package will be well into the 6 figures.

The job will be based in HQ 4-5 days a week, therefore will best suit those living in counties Galway, Mayo, Roscommon, Leitrim or Sligo.

As the head of their property investment group, you will manage all the financial income and investments from a significant portfolio of assets across property (residential/commercial property, apartment blocks, commercial developments, greenfield development sites, etc.), pension assets, corporate and personal share portfolios, and business investments.

Asset values will range from approx. €0.5M to over €100M, and building projects budgets would be approx. €10 to €20M over a number of years. You’d also sit on the Board of Directors for the companies they have invested directly in.

Working with hands-off company directors, you will hold full autonomy for the company’s operational, commercial and strategic decisions on such investments. Managing all external and internal stakeholder relations (building contractors, auctioneers, solicitors, brokers, property management companies, 3rd party providers, tax advisors, accountants and auditors, business owners), you will drive financial operations of this extensive property portfolio, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and tax law, and contributing to the development of the Group’s investment activities.

We are seeking an experienced finance professional (ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified) with strong commercial acumen and expertise in managing Investments in properties, stocks and pensions. Expertise in managing large property development projects (€10m+ budgets) in the construction and property sector is also required.
