Our rapidly growing, multinational client in Co Mayo has an excellent Finance Manager job for you. A Best Place To Work, and Best Managed Company, they are expanding their finance team again as a result of 20% year-on-year growth for the last 5 years.  You can work 2 days a week at home, so Accountants from Galway, Sligo, Leitrim and Roscommon can also avail of this fantastic opportunity.

There is no requirement for previous experience in manufacturing or distribution, but an attitude of best practice and top performance is integral to fitting in to this ambitious, high-achieving finance management team.

What does this Finance Manager job offer you?

The job offers you autonomy and ownership in financial accounting, corporate reporting, management accounting and financial analysis, as well as business partnering and process improvement projects across a complex, multi-jurisdictional manufacturing and distribution company.

What work will you be involved in?

Working on a large finance team in a high-achieving environment, you will act as the Subject Matter Expect for IFRS accounting treatments, focusing on new & potential business scenarios, deals and structures as the company expands into markets and regions.

You will also support the Finance & Site Leadership teams with insights on key cost and revenue margins for your business units, presenting same for analysis and review. You will act as a finance business partner to manufacturing and warehouse leadership teams with budgets and forecasts, updating financial metrics and KPIs, providing analysis and insights into material deviations, managing treasury and working capital, and acting as the go-to person on all other finance related queries from these sites.

As a senior finance team member, you will lead, and participate in, a number of company-wide process improvement projects, including ERP system changes, process automation & robotics, improving SOPs, and finance transformation initiatives.

Please get in touch if you have 3-5 years PQE in an international organisation, and a Chartered Accountant (ACA) qualification. A background in Big 4 or Top 10 practice is highly desirable but not necessary.
